Ughhh, sorry for not uploading anything in a while >_< school and other problems ;______;
Here's a quick, mediocre sketch of a concept that I thought of a looooooong time ago >< also a redo of a drawing on my old account lolol.
Yay, conceptual art~ ahaha.

Thank you in advance for any favourites! I'm sorry I can't thank all of you individually.

There's such a mentality and sad mood to this drawing ;u; the shaded backgorund certainly adds to that!
I don't blame you, I'm too busy to really draw anything, let alone post them up haha! Hows school going? (I miss your tweeting appearance on my timeline haha)

Critique: anatomy could use some work. Spine looks in place, but the back still looks odd. Looks like you have very broad shoulders. Try to lower them and round it off for females; it would look better with the feminine curvature. the dotted lines make a very flat contrast to the lower half of the body which could use slightly more curve at the hips, it's bit too straight thus making it look masculin. You should try the same kind of soft shading on the hair - tonality in greyscale for the hair; there's a lack of a light source there. The hair makes a portion of the drawing very flat with slight streaks of highlights. If you learn how to shade hair like everything else, this would look a lot more uniform and complete.
BUT as you say, quickies aren't the most perfecting things... I think there's improvement even in doodles. Simply doodling improves your drawing skills too.

I hope i wasn't too harsh on the critique. i don't want to be a meanie; it's what I think should be done to help you improve ^^ like tidbits for next time!
And I agree with :iconwyvern89: this isn't mediocre! Keep it up :)

Haha school's been okay. A streak of bad test scores has diminished my confidence though xD lolol yeah I haven't been tweeting much lately.. :/

I totally agree with you on the hair; it didn't match the rest of the drawing and I didn't take the time and effort to do it better Dx

Thanks so much for putting in the time to write such a detailed critique! It really helps point out the anatomy issues that I still have to work on, and it helps me notice things that I might have otherwise overlooked ^_^

Ahaha thanks for the encouragement as always!~
